‘Sculpture Garden – soft things for hard times’, is the phrase textile artist Elena Stonaker uses to describe her work. Creating a fabric-world, deliberately expressive of the hand that made it, Elena's craft is next to none.

Elena hand-painted a select Anaak silk pieces. Each one unique and a work of art, signed by the artist. As she envelops us into her micro-universe, we feel childlike, in wonder and awe, nestled inside her distinctive narrative. This effect, this gifted state, is perhaps her greatest feat – a way for the receiver to counterbalance the weight of the day, to remind us of the most beautiful things in the world, and how to locate that essence within ourselves.
